Dental Implantology at the Dr. Di Croce Dental Clinic is based on the revolutionary 3D Guided Implantology system, which allows planning the surgery on computer based on the study of Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT) with special computer programs, elaborating the CAT for anatomical and radiological analysis of the upper and lower jaw bones.

3D Guided Implantology system enables the surgeon to project position, inclination, depth and exact dimensions of implants in relation to the missing tooth position and in conformity with anatomy of the patient.  This projecting is done before the surgery.

The obtained data is transformed into a surgical guide which “guides” the surgeon in the course of the surgery as previously computerly programmed.  This results in a less invasive surgical procedure, awareness of anatomical challenges prior to procedure, higher precision of implant placement, reduced surgical time, and better patient recovery.

The surgical procedure is done under local anestesia, in one visit, without stitches and related post-operational discomfort.
